Small consistent habits compound & really are the driving force in our lifestyles. Spending time with Jesus, in prayer, getting outside, looking at the stars, moving our bodies, sitting in silence, practicing gratefulness are small habits that have the potential to have a big impact on our lives. And leave space for nothing. Not scrolling, consuming, or doing. Just being. Processing and peace happen here.
Small acts of kindness or thoughtful gestures are some of the building blocks of a healthy relationship. The quick note or text you send, their favorite drink you grab in the store, when you show up time & time again and the way you consider someone you love before you make a decision that could impact them – these little things end up being the big things. Thoughtful acts leave people feeling a certain way and we remember how others make us feel. So hold your people a little longer in a hug – consider them more.
Life really is only made up of a handful of really GRAND moments, all the rest are the in between stuff where most of our days and energy are spent. Are you living the in between moments in a way that matters to you?
