This word has shown up a lot for me this year. I’ve noticed more when people say the word, I’ve noticed it more in scripture and in other things I’ve read. And I think abundance is about noticing more.

Noticing more of what we already have – not necessarily more of something. To have an abundant life doesn’t mean that you have a lot of things or a lot of one thing. An abundant life means to have fullness in areas like joy, love and purpose.

John 10:10 says: “The thief comes ONLY to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly.” Let go of things destroying you – abundant life is on the other side.

As the year concludes and a new one begins I want to notice more. Less distractions. More abundance.
