Be as a Verb

By

I think connection is an innate human longing. Connection: “to bring together or into contact so that a real or notional link is established.” The opposite of connection is loneliness and it’s dependent on the quality (not quantity) of connections you have. You can be surrounded by other people and still feel lonely. You can “be connected” on social media with thousands of others as often as you desire and still feel immense loneliness.

Beconnected to our Creator & his creation.

Beconnected to yourself & your soul.

Beconnected to others… like actually connect with others about stuff that matters.

Its hard work to cultivate a culture (and community) of connection. The good & pure stuff that actually matters in this life (and eternal life with Jesus) is hard. There’s no shortcut to deep connection with God, ourselves or others. Hence BE as a verb, it requires action.

Beconnected to what matters.
